Who am I?
I’m Owen, an English guy spending most of my time in London and Berlin. I believe in personal financial independence, freedom of speech and our innate right to privacy.
I’ve spent most of my life working for a mix of tech startups and corporations as a software developer (full-stack web), designer, and team lead.
These days I am a part-time advisor to companies I admire and respect, as well as being an aspiring writer! I also give talks about Bitcoin and decentralisation at universities and conferences.
I believe
Work should be re-designed from first principles.
Working full-time is archaic and anti-human. We need better alternatives!
You cant't be controlled if you are financially free.
Your beliefs around money affect your wealth more than anything else.
Dating and hiring are very similar. For any relationship to succeed both sides need common values and complementary talents.
